The 2007 Choice and Achievement Awards were this year held in conjunction with Christmas with KCHT at The Corn Exchange in Rochester.
These awards enable KCHT to recognise the achievements of staff and service users.Bob Bushell, Trustee and Chairman of our KCHT Care Committee, was delighted to present the Awards on behalf of all at KCHT.
Congratulations to all the winners who are:
Staff Choice Award – Achievement to Paulette Worsley for particular success in achieving training awards and qualifications.
Staff Choice Award – Service to Stephanie Bradley for finding ways in which we can be more effective in how we use our resources.
Staff Choice Award – Innovation to Kevin Price for contributing to the development of a Parents Support Group for Fathers.
Service User Talent Award to Mercedes Mais – this award recognises that everyone is an individual and we each have a particular talent.Mercedes played a key role in the Moving Forward film “Without a Home”.
Service User Independence Award to Stacey Brown – this is for people who have set up home and have successfully maintained a tenancy over a period of time.Coping with the everyday challenges of being a householder such as budgeting and being a good neighbour.
Service User Achievement Award to Jasmine Savage – this is intended to encompass a wide range of achievements such as successfully completing a course of study leading to formal qualifications or attendance at training or educational activities.It will also apply to people who have shown a willingness to support others through volunteering for example.
