"Moving Forward has supported me through thick and thin. I was rock bottom but since the help that I have had from Moving Forward, I'm gradually getting on my feet."
Moving Forward has been providing support, opportunities and choices to vulnerable young people aged 16-25 since 1995. We support young people who are homeless, care-leavers, young offenders or having difficulties in their lives, moving them towards a positive future and fulfilling their aspirations.
The local projects give advice, support and practical help including accessing housing, benefits and specialist advice. Through one-to-one Keyworker support, training, informal learning, social activities, local drop-in centres and volunteer mentors, young people are helped to manage the issues of living independently.
Moving Forward works with many partners to deliver specific projects to meet the needs of vulnerable young people.
