View our Care Homes

Choosing a residential care home for yourself or a loved one can be a difficult, emotional, and sometimes confusing, decision. Do not rush the decision; select a number of care homes to visit and try to stay a while. Talk to the staff and, if possible, other residents.

  • Staff trained in specialist Dementia care
  • Call systems in every room
  • Wheelchair access to all main facilities
  • Nutritious, freshly cooked meals catering to all dietary needs
  • Visitors room
  • Visitors welcome at all times
  • Stimulating activities and in-home entertainment
  • Mini-bus available for regular outings

Visiting KCHT Care Homes

We would welcome a visit from you to view our care homes. Please contact the relevant Home Manager who will be happy to make arrangements for your visit.

Regulations

Our care homes are regulated under the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) which registers, inspects and reports on social care services in England. CSCI's job is to improve social care and stamp out bad practice.

CSCI Inspectors attend KCHT's care homes on announced and unannounced inspections. After an inspection visit a report on the findings, saying what the service does well and where it needs to improve is written and sent to KCHT to comment on.

Copies of CSCI's reports on all our homes are available on their website. Alternatively, you may view a copy of the CSCI report together with KCHT's response, which is not available on CSCI's website, at the relevant Home during your visit.
